Operations

On the front line of electricity supply, the team delivers more than 24,000 gigawatt hours of electricity every year. There are four teams: Area Operations and Supply Restoration, Major Projects and Maintenance, Network Control and Planning and Performance.

Chief Information Office (CIO)

CIO provides a fit-for-purpose, cost effective IT service based on the needs of our business. The team has three areas: Business Systems, Capital Delivery and Supplier Management.

Customer Strategy and Regulation

This department influences market and regulatory developments, and are responsible for our commerical relationships with customers. They make sure we maximise our regulatory contract and spot opportunities to add value to the business. The team works in four areas: Commercial Policy, Economic Regulation, Market Regulation and External Communications.

Finance

Finance works closely with the Chief Executive and makes sure every financial aspect of the business supports our overall aims. There are six teams involved: Business Change, Business Performance, Planning and Reporting, Risk, Control and Assurance, Transaction Services and Treasury and Investor Relations.

Human Resources

HR gives people the tools they need to support us in becoming a high performing organisation. There are five areas: Business Partners, HR Services, Communications, Reward and Talent and Resourcing.

Company Secretarial and General Counsel

Providing strong corporate governance and managing our property portfolio, there are five teams: Company Secretarial, Estates and Wayleaves, Legal Services, Property and Statutory and Legal compliance.

Network Strategy

Network Strategy manages current and future network needs. They also assess risk and work on future innovation as the power industry changes. There are three teams: Asset Management and Investment, Asset Planning and Future Networks.
