About the programme
Our Trainee Engineer programmes are perfect for broadening your skills. You won’t just train to be a qualified Engineer; in the future you’ll train to be a leader too. Which means more opportunities further down the line. Even better, you’ll have our full support every step of the way. There are two entry level programmes:
HNC/HND Entry Level Programme
This programme lasts for 12 months and provides you with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience you need to start powering the North West. This programme requires an HNC/HND qualification in Electrical Engineering.
‘A’ Level/ONC Entry Level Programme
The programme lasts for 3 years and includes a combination of formal classroom training, hands-on work placement experience, and sponsorship to achieve an HNC in Electrical Engineering.
This programme requires 2 A levels at grade A-C, one of which must be Maths or Physics; or an ONC in Electrical Engineering. It’s designed to provide you with an introduction to the workplace, as well as develop your knowledge and experience, plus give you the opportunity to study for additional qualifications.
