1. How do I apply?

If you’re interested in any of our jobs, you can apply online using this website.

2. I’m not currently eligible to work in the UK. Can I still apply?

Yes, you can still apply for one of our roles. But if you’re not a UK or EU national, you’ll first have to get a permit to work in the UK. If you’d like us to support your application, you’ll also need to prove you’ve got the sort of skills we can’t find in those already eligible to work in the UK.

3. What happens to my application after I’ve submitted it?

Once you've submitted your application online, we’ll send you an email to confirm we've received it. Our team will then shortlist the best candidates for the job. If we think you could be just what we're looking for, you’ll be invited to an interview. If, on this occasion, you're unsuccessful, we'll send you an email to let you know.

4. Where will I be based and will I need to travel?

Our roles are based all over the North West, across Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. There may be some travel involved in your role, especially if you work as an engineer.

Any requirement to travel with your role will be discussed with you during the selection process.

5. Will you support my personal and professional development?

Everyone at Electricity North West benefits from regular performance reviews with their manager. They’ll help you identify areas in which you want to develop. From becoming more effective in your role, to learning the skills that will help you move on to a more senior role. Meanwhile our dedicated training facility develops people’s technical skills. Plus, we offer a wide range of other learning and development options. So whatever your role, you’ll have the opportunity to progress within the business.
